1. How does it work?
This type of auction requires bidders to place bids that are unique. So for a bid to be eligible to win no other bidder can bid for the same amount. Bidders are able to apply multiple bids and the number of current bids at each amount is typically kept secret. For further information please visit our How it Works page
 
2. Are there any terms and conditions for participating in a bid?

3. Are there any costs to be involved?
Membership to you bid is free, however to make a bid on a live auction will incur bidding fees from your account

4. Is the website secure with storing my personal information?
Yes, please refer to our terms and conditions page

5. Can I deregister from ‘you bid’?
Yes, by sending you bid an email to info@youbid.com.au . If you have made bids in an active auction you may still receive email updates on your previous bids.

6. Are there any restrictions to joining ‘you bid’?
Bidding is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand over the age of 18

7. Are there any charges for postage or delivery?
Delivery is free of charge in Australia and at cost to New Zealand residents. Insurance is additional if requested by the Successful Bidder.

8. How do I make payments?
Payments are made via Paypal or direct deposit.

9. Can I make changes to my account details?
Yes, members have access to make changes at any given time to your account name, password etc.

10. What if there are no unique bids?
If there are no unique bids at the close of auction, the winning bid will be the first of the lowest unique bid amount with two bidders.

11. Who is the winning bidder?
The winning bidder is the bidder with the lowest unique bid. Please refer to our How it Works page .

12. What if I win the bid?
You will receive an email informing you of your successful bid. You can either accept the item or reject the item. You will have 10 days to respond to the email. After that the item will be deemed rejected and will be passed to the next Lowest Unique Bidder.

13. How do I know the status of my bid?
You will receive status bid emails to frequently update you on the status of your bids to ensure you stay in the running to having the lowest unique bid

14. Is there a Limit to how many bids I can make on an Auction?
The maximum number of Bids each Bidder can make in an Auction may be capped at the Promoters discretion

15. Is waiting to the end to make my bid a good idea?
No, for example if the auction ends with a result of no unique bid the winner of that auction will be the first of the lowest unique bid amount with two bidders. In this case you would not have a chance to win as would have waited to the end.

16. How do I know the auction has started?
Every Auction will be advised with a date and start time. You bid will also email every member once the Auction has begun.
     
17. What is the refer a friend feature?
You bid offers a link to tell your friends about our website. You may be rewarded with bidding credit to use on our auctions.

18. Can I unsubscribe from you bid emails?
Yes, just email info@youbid.com.au with your request and we will ensure it has happened within 48 hours
